2 1/8″ long.

A key clip is a small device primarily used to hold the end of a smoked cigarette or a hand rolled smoke.  The purpose of this clip is to allow you to continue smoking the cigarette down to the very end without burning your fingers or lips.

A typical key clip consists of a metal or heat-resistant material that is designed to withstand the heat produced by the burning tobacco. The device usually features a spring-loaded mechanism that allows it to open and close easily, gripping the end securely. The clip often resembles a pair of small tongs or tweezers, with two arms that come together when pressure is applied.

The key clip derives its name from its appearance, as it can resemble a key or keyring when closed. This design makes it convenient to carry around, as it can be attached to a keychain or kept in a pocket. It also helps to discreetly hold the smoke without causing discomfort to your fingers or lips due to the heat generated by the burning tip.

Overall, the key clip is a practical tool for individuals who want to maximize their smoking experience while avoiding the inconvenience of burns or discomfort. It has been used by smokers for many years as a handy accessory for enjoying the last bits of a smoke without wasting any of the smoking material.
