History
There is a lot of funny folklore and rumors as to the history of the name Juicy Jay’s®. It’s time to tell the whole Juicy Jay’s® background story…..
It all started in the late 1980’s in New York City. My friends and I were HUGE LL Cool J fans. I had a white Mustang GT 5.0 convertible with gold rims (ala Vanilla Ice style). I couldn’t afford the leather option, so it had grey plaid seats. It was hideous – but these were the 80’s and awful stuff like that was cool. After LL Cool J mentioned in one of his songs that he hangs out on Farmers Boulevard in Queens, we went to cruise Farmers Boulevard asking pedestrians if anyone knew where LL Cool J hung out. There we were, top-down, 4 funny looking kids from 4 different backgrounds and ethnicities (one of my friend’s named Kippie was so white he was practically albino) having the time of our lives. We cruised the entire length of Farmers that day. After that my friends came up with a new nickname for me. Of course, that nickname was “Cool Jay”. They would say “yo, over there is that Vanilla Ice’s 5.0 – no that’s Cool Jay’s Stang, let’s head over to Farmers and see if we can find LL”. A decade later when I was coming up with a brand name for my new menthol rolling papers, I branded them with my old nickname Cool Jay’s. The next flavor I came up with was Watermelon. For that one, I named it Juicy Jay’s Watermelon. Later came Java Jay’s, Jay’s rolls and 40 flavors of Juicy Jay’s®.I still wish that we had been back to find LL back in 1987. I probably would have stuttered and asked where he got his Kangol.
Please do not purchase or use Juicy Jay’s® papers with tobacco. They are only to be used by adults with legal smoking herbs or blends (so long as that herb or blend is legal and contains no tobacco). Juicy Jay’s takes the sale of their papers with *only* legal smoking herbs very seriously.

JOB 1 1/4
JOB 1 1/4 rolling papers have a natural gum, burn smooth and clean, and are made of pure rice paper. The Job brand was invented in 1838 in France, quickly becoming one of Europe's most popular brands of rolling paper thanks to its simple rice paper. These are 1 1/4 papers.
About JOB
In 1838, Jean Bardou was inspired to make a booklet of rolling papers made of pure, thin rice paper. The craftsman from France came up with a million-dollar idea; the papers were a success, and the initials JB were known throughout the towns. On the papers, the J and the B were separated by a diamond, so consumers began calling the brand JOB. The brand name followed shortly after, and by 1849, Jean Bardou filed for a patent for "Papier JOB". In the 1890s, many renowned artists were brought into design advertising posters for the brand. The brand can be seen all over the world, even starring in early films! Try a classic and see what the hype is all about.
