I’ll only shop at Mr. Bills now! I purchased a proto pipe from “xtreme collection” NIGHTMARE!!! I received an invoice that the product shipped on 9/7/10 with the tracking # but I never received anything! My Credit card was charged on 9/9/10. I Tried to contact the company MANY times and had to deal with disconnected phones and no response to emails. when the phones were finally turned back on I had to leave MANY messages over the course of a few days b/c I could never speak to a real person! No one ever called me back. On the fourth day of calling (AFTER their phones were turned back on), I actually got a hold of a “real live” person named “Jose” who informed me that they were “out of stock” I purchased this on 9/3/10 and was never informed! I wanted to thank you for your recent sale of the Proto Pipe I made last Saturday. Never, have I been so impressed with the quality of a pipe before! The way you machined and tooled this pipe is nothing short of genius. I have spent as much time just handling the pipe, as I have smoking from it. It is heavy, solid brass
(which is one of the questions I had asked of you
before ordering it) and you can just feel the quality that goes into each and every one you make. A friend showed me one that she had purchased over 35 years ago, and I was so impressed that I ordered mine the very next day. As manufacturing has “cheapened” over the years with cutting corners on the products they use, I’m proud to say that my pipe is every bit as well built as my friend’s pipe was that was made in the late 60’s. I just finished cleaning the pipe for the first time, and I wanted to add how easy it was to clean. In the process, I realized just how well machined every single piece of the pipe was, and how there is only one way to put it back together again.

I also have to add how on top of customer service your company is. When I e-mailed you the question of it being 100{3394111634281d603c8118f7e663678990f79b51ef2a7046ad4250f9db518d05} brass, you assured me within 2 hours that in fact it was solid brass.
I then proceeded to place my order on Saturday.
Two days later, on Monday, I was happily surprised to find your pipe in my mail box. I have never seen such service in all my dealings with internet purchasing. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I will tell all my friends about your pipe and company, and I’m confident that you’ll see some sales come from my referrals.

The little package containing two packets of Mixture No. 79 arrived yesterday. I had not seen a packet of Mixture No. 79 for perhaps 40 years. They look just as they always did!
When I was a kid in Greenwich Village in the 60s, I bought Mixture No. 79 at Village Cigars, the famous little landmark on Sheridan Square in the heart of the Village. In those days, drug stores and supermarkets carried a considerable selection of brands, including Mixture No. 79. In the 70s, tobaccos such as Mixture No. 79, Granger, Revelation, Brindley’s, Hickory, and Rum and Maple, disappeared from stores. I thought that they had passed away forever, until I googled Mixture No. 79 and discovered that you sell it and many other of the old brands. Wonderful!
This afternoon, driving through a gray coming-of-winter rain, I got out my corn cob pipe, opened a packet of Mixture No. 79, and lit up. It was a true nostalgia
